Product Description
The 2691 Bower is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separate cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing both radial and axial forces. Its design minimizes sliding movements to reduce component wear, with adjustability for endplay and preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
