Product Description
The 26830 Bower is the outer ring for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separate cone, it forms a complete bearing designed to handle both radial and axial forces in one direction. The conical raceways and roller elements prevent sliding and minimize wear, but a minimum load is required for optimal performance. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting and adjusting end play or preload. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both components at the same time and use a matching cone from the same manufacturer.
