Product Description
The 26283B Timken is an external flanged cup designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. By combining it with a separately available cone, you can create a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements enable it to handle radial and axial forces with ease. The flange allows for easy axial placement in a housing without the need for additional housing shoulders, resulting in a more compact and simple bearing design. Its geometry prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing component wear. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, ideally from the same manufacturer to ensure proper matching and prevent bearing problems.
