Product Description
The 10061 RIV is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a compatible cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction, due to its conical raceways and tapered rollers. This design prevents sliding movements, reducing component wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, but easy assembly and axial adjustment of end play or preload are possible. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously and to use matching components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
