Product Description
The 51408ATNG ZKL is a type of single direction thrust ball bearing, also known as a ball thrust bearing or axial deep groove ball bearing. It consists of a shaft ring, housing ring, and ball and cage assembly, making it suitable for high rotational speeds due to its open design.
These bearings can only handle axial loads in one direction and should not be loaded radially. The shaft ring is attached to the shaft and rotates with it, while the housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter to allow for shaft clearance.
Due to their disassemblable nature, the components of thrust ball bearings can be easily mounted separately. When assembling the bearing, it is important to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings. The housing ring of the 51408ATNG ZKL features a flat seat and cannot compensate for shaft and housing misalignment.
