Product Description
The F15113 A&S – Fersa is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers, and when paired with a compatible cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways on the inner and outer rings, along with tapered rollers, allow for absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction.
The design of tapered roller bearings prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load. The separable cone and cup make for easy mounting, and the axial clearance or preload can be adjusted during assembly.
For reliable operation, it’s best to replace the cone and cup at the same time and use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by internal profile differences, material variations, and tolerances.
