Product Description
The HM911242 Bower is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a compatible cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers prevent sliding movements, minimizing component wear. The separable cone and cup facilitate easy mounting and adjustment of end play or preload. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
