The 555S Bower is a single-row tapered roller bearing cone, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. Paired with a separate cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing that can handle radial and axial forces. Its design reduces sliding for minimal wear, but requires a minimum load for optimal performance.
