Product Description
The LM501311 Bower is a single-row tapered roller bearing cup that can be combined with a separate cone to form a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements allow it to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The design minimizes sliding movements to reduce wear, but a minimum load is required for proper operation. The separable cone and cup make mounting easy and allow for end play or preload adjustment. To ensure reliable operation, it’s best to replace the cone and cup at the same time and use components from the same manufacturer. Always pair the LM501311 Bower with a matching cone from the same manufacturer for optimal performance.
