Product Description
The PHS10LA IKO is a rod end, designed with a housing and integral shank paired with a spherical plain bearing. Rod ends are commonly used to connect two shafts or mounted on the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. They can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in either a tensile or compressive direction.
Featuring a steel-on-bronze sliding contact, the PHS10LA IKO offers low friction and high wear resistance. However, it requires regular maintenance and proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion. While the load capacity is slightly lower compared to bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts, it is a reliable option for many applications.
