Product Description
The KJL30D Askubal is a versatile rod end that features a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, making it maintenance-free. It can accommodate misalignment, and supports radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. The plain bearing consists of an inner and outer ring without rolling elements, and is often used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, as well as to connect two shafts. During the run-in period, particles of PTFE are deposited on the opposite running surface, creating a smooth fit between components.
