Product Description
The 4T-09074 NTN is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers and is used in combination with a separate cup to create a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways of the inner and outer rings, along with the tapered rollers, allow the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction without sliding, minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
