Product Description
The 49520 Koyo (JTEKT) is a cup designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. It serves as the outer ring that, when combined with a separate cone, forms a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and roller elements, this design allows the bearing to effectively absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. Its geometry prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear. The cup and cone are separable for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, materials, and tolerances.
