Product Description
The LM29711 NTN is the outer ring (cup) for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It is designed to be combined with a separately available cone to form a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and roller elements allow the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction, with a higher angle increasing the axial load capacity. Tapered roller bearings prevent sliding movements, minimizing wear, though proper operation requires a minimum load. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted, and their position can be adjusted to set end play or preload. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and the cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems due to internal differences.
