The POS5A IKO is a versatile rod end commonly used to connect shafts or mount at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. It features a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-bronze sliding contact, offering high wear-resistance and low friction. While it has slightly lower load capacity compared to steel-on-steel bearings, regular maintenance and proper lubrication are essential to ensure peak performance and prevent fouling and corrosion.
