Product Description
The 47820 Bower is the outer ring of a single-row tapered roller bearing which, when combined with a separate cone, forms a complete bearing capable of handling radial and axial forces. This design reduces sliding and wear, but requires a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance. For best results, it’s recommended to replace both the cup and cone at the same time, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
