Product Description
The 672B Bower is an outer ring for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separate cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The external flange allows for easy axial placement in a housing without requiring additional shoulders or seats, resulting in a more compact and simple bearing design. The geometric qualities of the bearing prevent sliding movements, reducing component wear. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, and it’s recommended to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
