Product Description
The SMLC5 Hirschmann is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing that can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. Its steel-on-bronze sliding contact provides low friction and high wear resistance, although it has a slightly lower load capacity compared to bearings with steel-on-steel sliding contacts. Regular maintenance and proper lubrication are necessary to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion.
