Product Description
The BA49 AKN is a single direction thrust ball bearing, consisting of a shaft ring, a housing ring, and a ball and cage assembly. These bearings are open in design and suitable for high rotational speeds. They can only be loaded axially in one direction, which locks the shaft in place in that direction. Additionally, they can be disassembled for easy mounting, but care should be taken to avoid mixing up the shaft and housing rings during assembly. The shaft ring rotates with the shaft, while the housing ring has a slightly larger bore diameter to allow clearance for the shaft.
