Product Description
The 68709 Timken is an outer ring designed to be paired with a separately available cone to create a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements enable it to handle radial and axial forces. This design prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load. The cup and cone are separable for easy mounting, with the option to adjust axial clearance or preload during assembly. It is recommended to replace the cup and cone together from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
