Product Description
The 313 Timken is an outer ring used for single-row tapered roller bearings, perfect for combining with a separately available cone to create a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways on the outer and inner rings and conical roller elements, this design can withstand radial and one-directional axial forces, with greater angle between the outer ring and the center line allowing for higher axial load capacity.
The geometry of tapered roller bearings prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing component wear and maintaining reliable operation. Adjusting end play and preload is simple as the cone and cup are separable, and ease of mounting is ensured. For proper functioning, it is best to replace the cone and cup simultaneously, sourced from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems arising from differences in internal bearing profiles, materials, and tolerances. Always pair the 313 Timken with a matching cone from the same manufacturer for optimal performance.
