Product Description
The 48620B-20024 Timken is an outer ring cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It can be combined with a compatible cone to form a complete tapered roller bearing, suitable for absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. The cup and cone have conical raceways and roller elements, preventing sliding movements to minimize wear. Both components are separable, allowing for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cup and cone simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
