Product Description
The 2732 Timken is an outer ring cup designed to work with a separately available cone to form a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and roller elements, this design provides excellent radial and axial force absorption. Its geometrical qualities minimize component wear, but a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The cup and cone are separable for easy mounting and allow for adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance, it’s best to replace both components at the same time and to use parts from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always pair the 2732 Timken with a matching cone from the same manufacturer for reliable operation.
