The W637/3-2Z SKF is a stainless steel deep groove ball bearing, providing highly corrosion-resistant qualities that makes it suitable for applications in wet or chemical environments, such as the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. These bearings can also withstand high temperatures, with slightly lower load capacities compared to chrome-steel bearings. In terms of design, these bearings are similar to standard chrome-steel deep groove ball bearings, offering a simple, sturdy design that is practically maintenance-free and suitable for accommodating radial loads and, to a lesser extent, axial loads in both directions.
