Product Description
The 563/Q SKF is an outer ring cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It can be combined with a separate cone to form a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements enable it to handle radial and axial forces, with a higher angle providing greater axial load capacity. Tapered roller bearings minimize sliding and component wear, but require a minimum load for optimal performance. The cup and cone are separable for easy mounting, and axial clearance or preload can be adjusted during assembly. For dependable operation, it’s best to replace the cone and cup together, using components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing issues. Always pair the 563/Q SKF with a matching cone from the same manufacturer.
