Product Description
The GIKSR16-PS Elges is a rod end that features a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact, making it maintenance-free. This component is designed to accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. It is commonly used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and to connect two shafts. The run-in period of the plain bearings deposits particles of PTFE on the opposite running surface, creating a smooth fit between components.
