K663A FAG

The K663A FAG is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It comprises the inner ring and rollers of the bearing and, when paired with a separate cup, forms a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways on the inner and outer rings and tapered rollers, this design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces. The geometry of the bearing prevents sliding movements, minimizing component wear, although a minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted, allowing for adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, ideally from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility issues. Always use a matching cup from the same manufacturer when using the K663A FAG.
