Product Description
The GIKPR16-PW Elges is a maintenance-free rod end with a spherical plain bearing featuring a steel-on-PTFE sliding contact. This component is designed to accommodate misalignment and support radial forces in either a tensile or compressive direction. It is commonly utilized at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, as well as to connect two shafts. The plain bearing’s run-in period deposits PTFE particles on the opposite running surface, filling in small irregularities and creating a smooth surface for optimal component fit.
