Product Description
The GIR70-DO-2RS Elges is a rod end featuring a spherical plain bearing with a steel-on-steel sliding contact. This type of bearing, made of steel both in the outer and inner rings, is wear-resistant and boasts a high load carrying capacity. It is perfect for applications calling for misalignment accommodation and support of radial forces in either a tensile or compressive direction. However, maintain it properly with regular lubrication to minimize friction, fouling, and corrosion. Rod ends are often used in hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and for linking two shafts.
