Product Description
The GIKSL5 Elges is a robust rod end with a spherical plain bearing that can accommodate misalignment and support radial forces. With a steel-on-steel sliding contact, this bearing offers high load carrying capacity and wear resistance, although it requires regular maintenance for proper lubrication to reduce friction and prevent fouling and corrosion. Typically used at the end of hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, rod ends like the GIKSL5 Elges are also employed to connect two shafts.
